Get To Know Us: Maggie Wayland Peck

Earbus Foundation of Western Australia

"I completed nursing studies in UK and worked in a variety of nursing disciplines before immigrating to Australia in the early 70s. I lived and worked in NSW and SA before settling in WA where I raised my children and worked in a wonderful variety of positions, my greatest love being working with marginalised populations.

I completed Post Grad Diploma in Clinical Specialties at Curtin University and now work as a Nurse Practitioner in general practice. I also work at Department of Child Protection’s secure care unit.

I was introduced to Earbus Foundation by a good friend and have enjoyed trips to the Pilbara and Goldfields. It’s great to work with this team of passionate, committed people in an area of such need. I look forward to a long collaboration."
