Starlight Foundation Boards the 'Bus

Earbus Foundation of Western Australia

Earbus Foundation is delighted to launch a new and innovative partnership with respected national charity Starlight Children’s Foundation. The partnership will deliver even greater outcomes for the Indigenous children who visit the Earbus clinics as they engage in play with Captain Starlight in order to enhance their experience at the clinic and distract them from procedures. Captain Starlight will join the Earbus Foundation’s Clinical Team on many trips to regional Western Australia this year, with visits to the Goldfields and the Pilbara.

“Schools are excited and welcoming at the prospect of having Captain Starlight visit and work with the children” said Earbus CEO Paul Higginbotham. “This is a promising new development for us as it allows important ear health messages to be delivered without taking time away from much-needed clinical treatment.”

This is Starlight’s first regional partnership in WA. The two teams from Earbus Foundation and Starlight Children’s Foundation will travel, stay and eat together as well as work alongside each other in schools, kindergartens and daycares across the state.
