Meet Dr Belinda Wozencroft

Earbus Foundation of Western Australia

Belinda Wozencroft is a GP who has worked extensively in Aboriginal health. Initially trained as a nurse, Belinda worked with remote Aboriginal communities in the Pilbara before completing medical studies at UWA. She currently practices as a GP in Perth, dividing her time between GP on Beaufort in Mt Lawley and Street Doctor, which provides outreach general practice services to homeless and at risk people. Belinda’s particular interests are women’s health, sexual health and HIV medicine. “I am looking forward to ongoing work with Earbus as their program tackles the exceptionally important issue of ear health for Aboriginal children in WA. I am aware from years of living in communities that ear health is fundamentally important in terms of Closing the Gap and creating positive life outcomes for these children.”
