Earbus Foundation is delighted to welcome Wendy Duncan to our Board. Wendy was born in Kalgoorlie and raised on her parents' sheep station receiving her early education from School of the Air.  Post-school, she spent a year in South Africa on Rotary Youth Exchange, and then attended UWA, graduating with a BA in politics and Australian history.

In January 2008, Wendy entered the WA Legislative Council. In April 2012, she won preselection for the seat of Kalgoorlie at the 2013 state election winning with 56.3 percent of the  vote, becoming the first National Party candidate to win the seat since its creation in 1901. After the election, she became deputy speaker of the WA Parliament.

After a successful and highly commended parliamentary career Wendy retired at the 2017 state poll.
