Meet Jenna Cooper

I am a Yamatji woman and very passionate about health. Watching my Nanna and the impact she made helping Aboriginal children both at school and culturally made me want to help my mob but in a different way. I want to be a nurse in the near future. I am honoured to work for Earbus Foundation and be part of helping Indigenous children. I realise that improving Ear Health will improve children’s chance to learn and gain a better education, as my Nana intended.

Big Help Provided

Earbus Foundation of WA is excited to welcome BHP as a major sponsor of our work in Aboriginal communities in the Pilbara, providing operational and capital funding. BHP funding allows Earbus Foundation to deliver Outreach Programs into the township of Newman and the remote Aboriginal community of Jigalong in the southern Pilbara region. The Outreach Program will deliver monthly Clinical visits to the schools in the region and deploy a fully-equipped customised Earbus that will be permanently located in Newman township.
