Our New Goldfields Sponsor

Earbus Foundation of WA is delighted to announce AngloGold Ashanti Australia as the new corporate sponsor of the Earbus Program in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. The two organisations began discussions in mid-2014 and in November reached agreement on an exciting collaboration. Christine Boase (Community Affairs) at AngloGold has overseen the process of developing and signing a Memorandum of Understanding with EFWA CEO Paul Higginbotham.

“We are delighted and excited to have a partnership with AngloGold Ashanti”, said Mr Higginbotham, “They have a strong presence in the northern Goldfields region where much of our work is located and are keen to support children in local communities.”

In 2014 Earbus Foundation – in partnership with Bega Garnbirringu Aboriginal Medical Service - helped over 1050 Aboriginal children in the city of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and the townships of Coolgardie, Kambalda, Menzies, Leonora and Laverton. This valuable health service was delivered by our highly experienced Clinical Team of GPs, ENTs, Audiologist, Nurses and Nurse Practitioners.
