2020 will hold its place in world history for many decades to come as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and massive disruption across the globe. Like all health organisations Earbus Foundation was challenged on many fronts and was forced to re-think service delivery and how to protect staff, children, families and communities.

One of the our most pleasing achievements was getting free supplies of soap, sanitiser and tissues to needy schools and communities when they were in short supply in regional WA.

We extended our remarkable connection with Aboriginal children and families across the state during 2020.  This year we visited 117 sites, up from 70 locations in 2019 – a 67% growth in program reach. At time of writing we have seen almost 5200 children, a 30% increase which includes 2463 new children in 2020. As we close off our Outreach trips for 2020 we have delivered over 21,000 occasions of care across the state.

A remarkable 2020 indeed.
