Nicola joined Earbus in 2025. Her career began in information technology, where she liaised between teams in mainland Europe. Nicola then qualified as a Clinical Audiologist and rose to working as a Senior Audiologist in the private, government and not-for-profit sectors while also contributing to several research projects and health promotion projects, with one winning the AMA(WA)/Healthway Healthier WA Award. . She lectured and provided clinical teaching at the University of Western Australia and contributed to research
Shifting to starting her own business, Nicola provided services in Central Auditory Processing Disorder and counselling. During this time, she also provided Ear Health services on behalf of several not-for-profits and the government in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
Nicola’s role at Earbus Foundation combines her extensive experience in business, audiology and relationship management. Nicola has a B.Sc. with first class honours, a Master of Clinical Audiology and a Master of Narrative Therapy and Community Work.
