Receptionist & Administration ASSISTANT

Earbus Foundation is an award-winning children’s charity. We provide a comprehensive range of hearing services, including Newborn Hearing Screening (NBHS) to babies born in private hospitals in WA and operate our Hear Today Clinic, profits from which support the delivery of hearing services to disadvantaged West Australians in regional and remote communities.
An opportunity has become available for a Receptionist / Administration Assistant to join our team at our Perth offices. As the first point of contact for visitors to Earbus Foundation, you will need to be friendly, kind and reliable.We can train you in the rest!
REPORTING TO THE BUSINESS & OPERATIONS MANAGER, KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Greeting, welcoming and directing visitors and announcing them to the appropriate person
Assisting visitors to complete all necessary forms and documentation
Answering, screening and forwarding telephone calls
Collecting and sorting mail
Scheduling Audiology appointments using the Best Practice Management System (on the job training provided)
Collecting payments for Audiology appointments
Obtaining referrals as required
Maintaining stock of office supplies
Ensuring office / clinic is well maintained, clean and tidy
Safeguarding patient privacy and confidentiality
Packing and unpacking equipment for Outreach teams
Cleaning and sterilising of consumables for Outreach teams and Hear Today Clinic
Ordering stock for Outreach trips and Hear Today Clinic
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Knowledge of software applications – Word, Excel
Full vaccination as per WA Dept of Health guidelines
Working with Children Card
Current Police Clearance
DESIRABLE REQUIRMENTS:
Excellent communication skills
Organisational skills – ability to prioritise workload and scheduled tasks
Attention to detail
Knowledge of Best Practice software or similar
