CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF PARTNERSHIP
Landmark MOU signed by Gloria Jacob, Rose Nowers Board Chair, and Sue Beath the Board Chair of Earbus Foundation. In attendance from L to R are Earbus Outreach Coordinator Kassy Hayden, Executive Director Paul Higginbotham and CEO Dr Lara Shur, and Rose Nowers Board Member Niki Jacob.
For the past 10 years, Rose Nowers Early Learning Centre has held a special place within the Earbus Foundation community. The RNECL proactive focus on early intervention and 'it takes a village' approach have resulted in children receiving targeted and wrap-around initiatives and Earbus Foundation is proud to be a part of that.
On August 4th, Rose Nowers Early Learning Centre (RNELC) in Port Hedland and Earbus Foundation of WA marked a decade of impactful collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding. The MOU was signed by RNELC Board Chair Gloria Jacob, who is also Chair of the East Pilbara District Health Advisory Council and Sue Beath, Chair of Earbus Foundation and a respected Karriyarra Knowledge Holder from the Pilbara.
Since 2015, Earbus has provided monthly hearing screenings and developmental support to children at RNELC, helping to identify issues early and improve long-term outcomes. This MOU agreement includes additional visits each term, offering therapy, and family support to this community.
